Frequently Asked Questions

How do the DIY templates work?
All of our templates are sold through our Etsy store. The templates have been created in an online program called Templett which allow you to edit the design in your internet browser.
Below are some easy steps to follow after you have chosen your design:

1. After you’ve purchased the listing from Etsy, you will be sent an email from Templett with a link to your purchased design.

2. Follow the instructions from the Templett email.

3. Edit the template in your internet browser (you can edit most wording, font and colours)

4. Download your print files (PDF, PNG and JPEG options are available)

5. Print your artwork at home or at your local print shop.

Can I try the template before purchase?

Yes! Each design collection has a demo link listed on the etsy product page. You can get a feel for how the online program works and see how your details will look on the design.

Do you offer customisations?
Absolutely! We love working with clients to customise designs to suit the unique style and tone of their big day. Please get in touch to discuss what you have in mind.
How do I download my files to print or digitally sent them?
When you are happy with your design, click the download button in the top right-hand corner. You can choose from 3 different file formats – PDF, JPEG or PNG.
PDF is the recommended format as it’s the highest quality. You can export the file with trim marks and bleed* if the professional printer has requested those settings. If you are printing at home, you also have the option to save paper, which will layout as many designs as possible on one sheet.
*Bleed is printing that goes beyond the edge of where the sheet will be trimmed so the bleed is the area to be trimmed off.
JPEG: Online printers can sometimes request JPEG files, make sure you use the 300dpi option. You can save out the design with or without bleed – depending on the printer’s requirements.
PNG: The PNG option is used if you want to send your invitation digitally.
